GSJSA ACE Coaching Clinics

New for 2012 for All Recreational Leagues. While we highly recommend every Recreational League to have their coaches ACE Certified, we are not requiring it this year. We are requiring that all on field personal MUST be background checked.

FOR 2012 ALL TRAVELBALL TEAMS: All “A” and “B” travel team participants (coaches, assistant coaches, managers, scorekeepers, volunteers, etc.) that could possibly set foot on the softball field in ASA Championship play, MUST be ACE certified and background checked.  To become ACE Certified ALL tests are available on line on the ASA ACE web site.

The fee for Level l is $25.00. The feel for Level II-IV is $20.00.

Anyone who was ACE certified at Level I in 2011 Must be ACE certified at Level II for 2012. Anyone who was ACE certified at Level II in 2011 Must be ACE certified at Level III for 2012. Anyone who was ACE certified at Level III in 2011 Must be ACE certified at Level IV for 2012.

New for ALL Travel Teams. No ID Cards will be issued to any team until ALL your on field staff has completed their ACE Certification and Background Checks. There will be NO exceptions to this policy. If you have any questions, please contact Bart Magellan JO Commissioner.

Please be aware that that the process to complete your test/background check can take up to 20 days. Please plan accordingly.
